Pariyej Lake Wetland near Ahmedabad

Pariyej Lake, also known as Pariej Wetland (પરીએજ અથવા પરીયેજ), is a peaceful natural retreat located about 55 km from Ahmedabad and almost the same distance from Vadodara. This shallow-water lake is officially recognised as a wetland and is a haven for birdlife. Situated near Matar village on the Kheda–Khambhat road, Pariyej Lake offers a unique experience where you can spot birds even while driving along the road. The fertile surrounding farmlands and the lake’s shallow waters create an ideal environment for nesting and breeding. As a result, a wide variety of birds can be seen here, including the elegant Sarus cranes. For nature lovers and birdwatchers, Pariyej Lake is truly a hidden gem. 🐦✨

Patan is famous for its heritage Rani Ki Vav, Patola Sarees, Devda Sweet, and Panchsara Jain Temple. Now one more feather of the new attraction is going to add for the locals and tourists who travel the rani ki vav. The government is developing the Dinosaur Park Patan, Science museum, Human Science Gallery, Hydropronix Gallery, Noble prize chemistry gallery, and optics gallery near Patan at Samalpati Chormarpura village 10 km from Rani ki vav. Developing in 10 acres land and with the approx cost of 100 crores.

Gandhi Ashram is going to Rennovate

Gandhi Ashram or Satyagrah Ashram Ahmedabad is a famous and iconic place for the visitors of Ahmedabad. Mahatma Gandhi set up 17th June 1917 Almost (100 years back) on the riverbank of the Sabarmati. There are many historical events like the Dandi march, Rowlatt Act, Champaran Satyagrah, Khadi movement and many others. Recently PM Narendra Modi visited Gandhi Ashram and decided to renovate it to make it more attractive. Here is the plan..

Sindhrot Checkdam near Vadodara

One of the half-day trips to Sindhrot Check dam near Vadodara and Ahmedabad. Sindhrot village is 26 km from Vadodara and it’s on the riverbank of the Mahisagar. It is a good place to take bath in the Mahiriver with a full flow of water throughout the year.

Baobab Tree Vadodara

Have you ever heard about “Kalpvruksh” (કલ્પવૃક્ષ)? We all listen to the story of the Kalpvruksh but it exists that we never know. This tree is known as the “Kalpvruksh”. When govt declares the price of the tree then one tree came in limelight. Its name is Baobab Tree of Vadodara (In Gujarati: રૂખડો). Scientific name Adansonia. The reason was this tree carbon dating showing 950 years old. Its price is estimated at 9 Cr + by the govt. It means, if anyone cut this tree, they have to pay 9 crores rs to govt for the same. After the limelight, govt has protected it and it became a tourist attraction. It’s just 15 km from Vadodara.

Zen Garden Ahmedabad

Zen Garden Ahmedabad was specially created similar to the Japanese Zen garden. It’s in the Panjrapol area opposite the IIM Ahmedabad in the AMA Campus. Zen Garden’s Japanese name is Zen-Kaizen so sometimes it’s called Zen Garden or Zen-Kaizen.

કુદરતના ખોળે પથ્થરના ડુંગરો ભમવાની મજા જ કંઈક અલગ છે. જેસોર અભ્યારણ્ય ને તેનું નામ અરવલ્લી પર્વતમાળાની જેસોર ગિરીમાળાઓ ઉપરથી મળ્યું છે.

ગુજરાતના દ્વિતિય ક્રમના એવા 3750 ફૂટના ઊંચા શિખર સાથે જેસોરની ગિરીમાળાઓ સમગ્ર અભ્યારણ્યમાં ફેલાયેલી છે.

Jessore Hill or Jessore Sloth bear sanctuary is in Gujarat located in between Palanpur and Mount abu (Abu road). While visiting Mount Abu, must visit this.

Shulpaneshwar wildlife sanctuary and Zarwani waterfall – (July To November) 500 Rs Additional as Entry fee of the Wildlife Sanctuary. When the sardar Sarovar dam is overflowing, this remains close.

India is a very ancient land. It’s older than the Dinosaur Era (65 Million years). It’s evidence found in many areas. In Gujarat, it is found near Balasinor (100 Km from Ahmedabad). Balasinor dinosaur park has Balasinor Fossil Park and Dinosaur Museum.
