Balasinor Dinosaur Park

India is a very ancient land. It’s older than Dinosaur’s Era (65 Million years). It’s evidence found in many areas. In Gujarat, it is found near the Balasinor (100 Km from Ahmedabad). Balasinor dinosaur park has Balasinor Fossil Park and Dinosaur Museum.

Raiyoli area of Gujarat is known to be the third-largest dinosaur fossil site in the world. Also, the second-largest dinosaur hatchery in the world, where thousands of eggs had been found. Dinosaur Fossil Park is one the best experience for you to go back 6.5 Million years. It is considered the Jurrasic Park of India. In 1980-1990 there were 10,000 eggs of dinosaurs found here. It’s considered the second largest hatchery in the world after France.

You can find the fossil in the fields in natural forms and this is only possible here in India as other fossil parks are not available for the common people.

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on 8th June 2019 inaugurated India’s first dinosaur museum and fossil park at Raiyoli village near Balasinor town of Mahisagar district.

The new museum will create a prehistoric-like era environment when dinosaurs might have roamed around freely in Raiyoli.

50 sculptures of dinosaurs, including a life-size one of Rajasaurus Narmadensis that was found in Gujarat, have been erected at the museum.

50 Rs/Person is the Entry fee of the Balasinor Dinosaur Museum and Balasinor Dinosaur Fossil Park

Large/Regular Camera fees – 500 Rs/Camera. Although mobile photography has no charge.

It has a cafeteria and its provide Indian snacks, cooldrink and tea coffee at a reasonable rate. It has also a souvenir shop inside the museum from there you can find the kitchen, soft toys, t-shirts, bags, toy eggs and many more things.
