Riverfront Foot bridge Ahmedabad – Atal Bridge

Recently, after a helicopter ride, Sabarmati Riverfront foot over bridge or Riverfront footbridge (Atal Bridge) is a new attraction. It is connecting East and West Ahmedabad. Westside entry opens in the Riverfront Flower Park. The new overbridge is named after Shri Late Atal Bihari Bajpai. The bridge’s name is Atal Bridge.

Pariyej Lake or Pariej Wetland near Ahmedabad

Pariyej Lake or Pariej Wetland (પરીએજ અથવા પરીયેજ) is 55 km from Ahmedabad and around the same distance from the Vadodara. It’s a shallow water lake and considered a wetland. It is located near Matar village on the way of Khambhat from Kheda. You can see the birds easily by passing through the road. Many birds including the Sarus cranes are nesting and breeding here due to the fertile lands nearby and shallow water.

Gandhi Ashram or Satyagrah Ashram Ahmedabad is a famous and iconic place for the visitors of Ahmedabad. Mahatma Gandhi set up 17th June 1917 Almost (100 years back) on the riverbank of the Sabarmati. Symphony Forest Park

Symphony Forest park is a newly developed (in 2020) Municipal Garden developed by Ahmedabad’s famous Company Symphony in the Bodakdev area. Thus the name of the Park became popular as Symphony Forest Park. Even on Google Maps, you can find Symphony Forest Park. The park has beautiful landscaping that makes your day perfect while you go for walk and the nature trail of the forest park. As the name suggests it’s a kind of forest and you will get a feeling of the forest.

Zen Garden Ahmedabad

Recently Prime minister Narendra Modi inaugurated (Still not open for the Public) the Zen garden Ahmedabad. It’s specially created similar to the Japanese Zen garden. It’s in the Panjrapol area opposite the IIM Ahmedabad in the AMA Campus. Zen Garden’s Japanese name is Zen-Kaizen so sometimes its called Zen Garden or Zen-Kaizen.

Rajendranagar Hill Station – on the way of Shamlaji or Udaipur from Ahmedabad

If you are going to Shamlaji or Udaipur from Ahmedabad and if you have 30 mins spare or you are looking for places around Shamlaji/Udaipur route. Then Rajendranagar Hill is a must-go destination. It’s a small hill and has a beautiful view of the indrasi reservoir.

Currently, as of 26 Nov 2020, the condition of the Road is not good in between Ahmedabad to Shamlaji. So if you divert your route a little approx (10+ km more in total km). You will get a chance to see the photogenic place. Here its photo

After 3 lockdown, Tourist from ahmedabad looking for one day safe picnic points. Temples, Monuments, Status and Sanctury are still closed (Upto 31s August, not sure about 1st September after).
