Zarwani Waterfall & Shoolpaneshware wildlife Sanctuary

Shulpaneshwar wildlife sanctuary and Zarwani waterfall – (July To November) 500 Rs Additional as Entry fee of the Wildlife Sanctuary. When the sardar Sarovar dam is overflowing, this remains close.

Zarwani waterfall (Dheerkhadi Dhodh) is one of the best waterfalls in Gujarat and it is located near the statue of unity. It is around 17 km from the Statue of Unity. You can visit it during your trip to the statue of unity. Make sure, it is located inside the Shoolpaneshwar wildlife sanctuary so it has limited access and entry fees.

Zarwani waterfall is risky for swimming so it’s advisable not to swim here. Go there for enjoying the natural beauty.

Entry Fees

Though it is located inside the sanctuary it has a price. as of July 2019

On weekends – 500 Rs/car up to 6 persons
On weekdays – 400 Rs/car up to 6 persons

Zarwani Eco Campsite

Zarwani eco campsite is a beautiful location to stay and relax in the middle of the Shoolpaneshwar wildlife sanctuary, near the statue of unity. It has limited facilities but is worth staying there especially during Monsoon and winter (July to Feb). Natural beauty in monsoon at its best.

Zarwani Eco Campsite has beautiful views and an atmosphere. A food facility is also available on request so it will be advisable to go there with advanced planning. For the night stay, it has to Stay facilities too. I suggest this is a very nice place if you are planning to stay nearby statue of unity. Local food has been served here.
