Sunsar Waterfall near Bhiloda

Sunsar Waterfall (સુણસર ધોધ) is the Season waterfall located at Bhiloda North Gujarat. It is 130 km from Ahmedabad and 40 km north of Himmatnagar. It is considered the most heightened seasonal waterfall in Gujarat. It is considered the Mini Kashmir during the monsoon season while raining.

About waterfall

The waterfall is located at Sunsar village of Bhiloda. It is a high Aravalli mountain and water comes down from a high range approx 50 to 80 ft the mountain. It is not coming from the River or Lake so its only runs during the Monsoon and during the rain. Please go there after checking the running status.

Entry fees and Timings

There are no entry fees to visit the waterfall. It remains open on all days and you can visit any time between 6 am to 7 pm.

Best time to visit Sunsar waterfall

Monsoon and particularly rainy day is the best time to visit Sunsar. August and September is the best time to visit. It is a seasonal waterfall not coming from any lake so it dried up quickly. It remains crowded during the weekend.

For the rest of the season, it’s not worth visiting.
