The journey to this place is just as beautiful as the destination itself. The approach road from the village is a state highway, and its current condition is excellent. As you near the destination, the road becomes more exciting with a series of sharp curves. The final one-kilometre stretch winds its way uphill, leading you to the sunset point. This thrilling climb adds to the adventure and rewards you with stunning views once you reach the top.

The water appearing in the above image is the Indrasi Reservoir on the Hathmati River which merges to the Sabarmati River after a few km. This Reservoir is very large and extends till Bhiloda.

When you reach there is no board or nothing for food so keep the arrangement of water and food

It is a photogenic place and it becomes very beautiful in monsoon

It’s famous for the sunset time so try to reach there around 5 PM in Winter and 6:30 PM in Summer. In Monsoon reach any time 🙂

Evening Surprise

While returning, In my life I have the first time got chance to see a nocturnal bird on the road from 6 feet distance in front of Car. Yes, it was the NightJar Nocturnal Bird (નિશાચર પક્ષી). The villager said it’s common to sight this bird here so everyone can get a chance to see it if comes in the night or early morning. So please be slow in driving the car to save this bird.

Then near the village, we have found Tetar which commonly appears in the villages.

We spent around 1 hr and it was refreshing to explore the unexplored. Must visit while you visit Shamlaji of Udaipur, you will not regret it.
