Jessore hill is heaven for the trekking lover. If you love Adventurous treks and climbing then this is heaven for you. Idar gadh and Jessore hill both have challenging treks and this is quite amazing. During this time you can visit the following places and do things.

Jessore sloth bear sanctuary best time to visit
The best time to visit Jessore hill is After the monsoon. In August, September and October month when the river is filled with water and the mountain remains lush green. Winter is also a good time for Dry adventure trekking.
Most of the wildlife remains close from 15 July to 15 October. Jessore also remains closes during that time too. At this time you can visit Kedarnath Temple but can’t go to the main sanctuary area.

Balaram Mandir and Dhar Mata Temple
Balaram temple and Dhar Mata Temple is very Natural Place and its a few km away from Palanpur. Monsoon is the best time to visit this place but still, you can visit in a day or 2 days journey. Its located on the way to Palanpur – Ambaji Road. It has beautiful surroundings and landscapes.
Sloth bear Sanctuary Resthouse
When you enter the Sanctuary, it has a forest resthouse where you can spend some quality time. In advance planning, they can provide Lunch too. You can explore the beautiful surrounding and very high hills
Kedarnath Temple at Jessore Wildlife Snactuary
From the forest to Kedarnath Mahadev temple, it has a trek to reach there. It’s a few km walk in the mountain to reach Kedarnath Mahadev temple. The trek is a basic level trek but very interesting. This trek is only remain open throughout the year while sanctuary remain close from 15 June to 15 October.
Vishweshwar Mahadev & River Bath
Vishweshwar Mahadev is located outside the sanctuary and you can enjoy the bath in a shallow river. It has clean and calm water that makes your trip soothing. (river bath is only possible in between august to October month only while Banas river flowing)

If you are planning to stay at Night nearby. Then you can stay in a room in the Resthouse of Van vibhag Jessore Wildlife sanctuary. But please note that it has no advanced booking system + it remains closed from 16 July to 16 October every year.
