Taranga Hill
Taranga Hill, also known for the Taranga Jain Temple and its mini hill station vibe, is a picturesque destination located in the Aravalli mountain range near the Dharoi Dam on the Sabarmati River. The hill has a rocky terrain, and there is only a Dharamshala available for accommodation at the top. It is 130 km from Ahmedabad and takes approximately 3 hours to reach there.

Dharoi Dam
Dharoi Dam is a major dam built on the beautiful Sabarmati River. It is located in a scenic hilly region of North Gujarat. A road leads down to the riverbed of the dam, from where you can enjoy stunning views of the dam and the surrounding hills. You can also take a bath here if the water level is low. Several new tourist facilities are being developed in the area, so you may encounter some road closures due to ongoing work.
Vadnagar
Vadnagar is an ancient town famous for the Kirti Toran, Tana Riri, and the Vadnagara Brahmin heritage. It is also the hometown of Shri Narendra Modi. Sharmistha Lake is another popular place to visit in Vadnagar.
