10 things to do at Kankariya Lake Ahmedabad – Full day fun

Kankariya Lake is located in Maninagar. It is the best tourist attraction in Ahmedabad and has a lot of things to do. It’s called heaven for Children where they can enjoy the zoo, water park, balloons and many more things described below. This place is a beautiful circular lake. It will take approx 4 to 8 hours if you want to enjoy the full fun of this area.

2. Kamla Nehru Zoo (Kankaria Zoo) is a very famous zoo and has a variety of animals. Remain open till 6 PM

4. Kids city – City for kids. Tickets around Rs. 100 per kid – It gives the experience to become a doctor, pilot, radio jokey, police, fireman and many more things to children. It is good if you have a child of more than 7 years. Read more about Kids City
   
5. Naginawadi & Laser show – Is located in the centre of the lake. This has the attraction like a musical fountain, laser show, small rides for children, Fountains, seats for enjoying lake beauty, boating
   
6. Toy train – Fees: 25 Rs – Run around the border of the lake it will give a full idea about the lakes and their activities. It remains crowded during weekends and holidays.
   
7. Jalpari – The open bus ride. The slow open bus rotates around the lake.

10. Outside the lake premises, children can enjoy horse riding, merry-go-round and many more things.
    
11. Jaldhara waterpark

It opens early morning around 6am and closes at 10:00 pm. You can relax and enjoy the beauty of the place without the hurdles of the vehicles. It has 10 rs entry fees. It is good for all age groups and if you want to spend 4+ hours in Ahmedabad in a single place this is the right choice for this. The best time to visit is 3 PM onwards.

The government organised the Kankaria Carnival every year from the 25th of December to the 31st of December every which includes
