Ahmedabad entitled with UNESCO World Heritage City of India in july 2017. It’s first city of India declared based on various criteria among the Delhi, Mumbai and other Metro cities of India.

Here are the list of the heritage places in Ahmedabad. Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has taken very effective steps to protect heritage places to gain the heritage city status. One of the example is they have not destroy the old architecture, 100+ years old Steel Bridge “Ellisbride” was not in good condition instead of destroying it created supporting 2 bridges.
