Nilkanth Dham, Swaminarayan temple at Poicha village often called Poicha Mandir or Poicha Temple/ Poicha Swaminarayan Temple / Nilkanth Dham / Sahjanand universe is one of the best temples of Gujarat (Newly created). It is located on the bank of the Sacred river Narmada. Temple has many things to see, it’s like an island on water. Its architecture, idols and peace inside the temple.
So far most of the tourists going to the Statue of Unity from Ahmedabad or Vadodara used to visit it.
Sahjanand Universe is on the premises of the temple which is the museum and amusement park for the children.
The main attraction of the temple is, that every evening just before sunset Poicha Mandir trust performs the Rathyatra. The idol of God on the elephant and take a full round of Temple with Bhajans, Kirtan, Dance, Flowers and Colors. The evening atmosphere is very pleasant in all seasons.

There is a Poicha temple in the whole area. There are many temples for different gods of the Hindu Religion. Temple offers the pure Swaminarayan Veg Food (No Onion and Garlic), stay for a short time at reasonable rates.
It takes approx 1 to 3 hours to view the Poicha mandir (Swaminarayan temple Poicha).
How to reach Poicha Mandir
Nilkanth Dham Poicha Mandir is located near Poicha Village. The best way to reach is the Car to reach there. Its 40 km from the Statue of Unity towards Vadodara. Vadodara to Poicha temple is 65 km. You can take the car from Vadodara or the Statue of unity.
Ahmedabad to Poicha mandir is 170 km and the best way to reach is by car. Poicha to Ahmedabad is a car too.
Sahjanand Universe of Poicha Temple
Sahjanand Universe is part of the Nilkanth dham Swaminarayan Poicha Mandir. If you are travelling with Children then must go here.
Sahjanand Universe ticket is around Rs. 150 per person but worth visiting it. It has many sections to explore.
Its timing is 1 PM to 7 PM

The entrance starts with the Garden and Garud.
Walkway
On the way, you will find the sculpture of Krishna Leela, Saraswati Devi, Swaminarayan Bhagwan, Ganeshji and Shankar Bhagwan with beautiful sculptures.

There are 2 horror houses. Both are interesting for the kids.
Boating of Sahjanand Universe
Boating is very interesting here. It will pass through the artificial jungle and its shows about jungle life which is related to god.
