15 things to do at Sabarmati Riverfront Ahmedabad

Sabarmati Riverfront, Ahmedabad, is now becoming the identity of the city. It is located on both sides of the Sabarmati River, running through the heart of Ahmedabad. The riverfront stretches approximately 11 km on each side, making it a total of 22 km long. It features more than 10 attractions developed so far, with many more planned. Phase 2 is coming soon and will extend up to Indira Bridge and Motera Stadium.

Things to Do at Sabarmati Riverfront

Both sides have a lot more things to do. The New City side is considered the West Side of the Ahmedabad Riverfront and the Old City side is the East Side of the Ahmedabad/Sabarmati Riverfront. There are 7 bridges highlighted in the given image below to identify the spot’s location.

Next to the Vallabh Sada, there is Mybyk Hub from where tourists can buy a cycle on rent also the span of the riverfront is wide enough for the morning, and evening walks. The morning and evening atmosphere here is Energetic and has positive vibes.

Water Aerodrom, Helicopter Ride (Joy Ride)

A helicopter ride is open now from 1st January 2022. It will give the experience of a Helicopter ride of Ahmedabad for about 10 Minutes. It’s run only on Saturday and Sunday as of now. More about Helicopter Ride

Buddha Statue

When any tourist/Visitor comes to Ahmedabad via Airport, this is the starting point of the riverfront. Gautam Budhha Statue. When Japan’s PM Shinjou Abe and India’s PM Narendra Modi visited Ahmedabad then this statue was set up the first time. This is the entrance of the Sabarmati Riverfront. Children Park & Garden

Next to Gautam Budhh Statue, there is a children’s park where a Play area, musical fountain and gardens are available for the kids.

The Riverfront Park on the east side is quite big and has multiple things to do. Its entry fee is Rs. 10 per person

Ravivari Bajar (Sunday Market) Gujri Bajar
