Ahmedabad Riverfront – Things to do

Ahmedabad Riverfront is not becoming the identity of Ahmedabad. Its located on both sides of the Sabarmati River in the middle of the City. Ahmedabad Riverfront is approx 11 km on each side. It means a total of 22 Kms long. It has approx 10+ attractions done so far also a lot more pending. Phase 2 is coming soon which extends till Indira bridge and Motera stadium.

Things to Do at Ahmedabad Riverfront

Both sides have a lot more things to do. The New City side is considered as the West Side of the Ahmedabad Riverfront and the Old City side is considered as the East side of the Ahmedabad/Sabarmati Riverfront. There are 7 bridges highlighted in the given image below to identify the location of the spot.

Riverfront has multiple gardens on each side. This is on the west side near the Usmanpura.

Water Sports, Boating, Cruise

Entartica Seaworld has many attractions like Cruise, Boat, Paddle Boat etc. Cruise has fees of 250 Rs per person.

Riverfront Cruise Timings are every half an hour from 10:30 AM morning to 8:30 Night.

Walkway and Cycling

Next to the Entartica sea world, there is Mybyk Hub from were, tourists can buy a cycle on rent also the span of the riverfront is wide enough for the morning, evening walk. The morning and evening atmosphere here is Energetic and has positive vibes.

Water Aerodrom, Helicopter Ride (Joy Ride)
(W10 in the map – West Side)

Water Aerodrom is made for the Seaplane services from Ahmedabad to Kevadiya Colony.

A helicopter ride is open now from 1st January 2022. It will give the experience of a Helicopter ride of Ahmedabad for about 10 Minutes. It’s run only Saturday and Sunday as of now. It will cost Rs. 2,360 Rs per person. Readmore…

East side attractions of the Sabarmati Riverfront

Buddha Statue
(E1 – in the Map East Side)

When any tourist/Visitors come to Ahmedabad via Airport, this is the starting point of the riverfront. Gautam Budhha Statue. When Japan’s PM Shinjou Abe and India’s PM Narendra Modi visited Ahmedabad then this statue was set up the first time. This is the entrance of the Sabarmati Riverfront. Children Park & Garden

Next to Gautam Budhh Statue, there is a children park where a Play area, musical fountain and gardens are available for the kids.

The Riverfront Park on the east side is quite big and have multiple things to do. Its entry fee is Rs. 10 per person

Walkway & Cycling

Ravivari Bajar (Sunday Market) Gujri Bajar
(E5 – In East side)
