Calico museum Ahmedabad is the one of the finest Textile Museum of the world. The calico mill was the first textile mill opened in Ahmedabad. Thereafter, ahmedabad was known as the Manchester of India. Calico museum has the guided tour that will give you detailed information about the history of the textile arts, coin collection, art collection and many more.

3 Guided Tours at Calico Museum

The best part of the museum is it is not like a normal museum where you can roam here and there. This tour required compulsory advanced booking + after reaching there they provide guide to give you information about each things with full interest and detailed info.

Entry Fees of Calico Museum

There is No Entry Fees but Advanced booking compulsory. It is based on the First Com first serve basis.

Rules to follow

• Photography and Videography are not allowed
• Personal belongings, including mobile phones, cameras and bags are not allowed inside the premises. While we provide a storage space, we do not take responsibility for your belongings.
• Visitor access to the galleries and shop is restricted to the guided tour hours.
• Visitors are advised not to leave the tour mid-way and to plan their schedule accordingly.
• The galleries are built across multiple levels with different floor surfaces and varying passage heights and widths. The Foundation cannot accept any responsibility for physical injury on this account.
• The Foundation is currently not able to offer wheelchair access to visitors.

• Children below the age of 10 are not admitted on the garden tour. Children between 10 and 15 are permitted on the walk if accompanied by a parent

The Foundation conducts a garden walk, which we call the Udyana Tour, every Tuesday and Thursday. This guided walk starts at 3:30 p.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m.
