Amul Dairy located at Anand Gujarat is considered as Largest Dairy in Asia. Amul meaning is Anand Milk Union Limited. Amul dairy visit is the unique things to see from gathering milk to pack and dispatch the milk process. This process happen almost fully automatically. You can visit Amul dairy and experience the largest Dairy’s milk processing unity.
Short Story/History of Amul Dairy
- Before independence, there were thousands of cattle owners who used to produce milk and give it to their village and neighbouring villages. But after being distributed to all, unused milk got wasted. This problem led to many issues like some days lots of milk available and some days no milk available.
- Then there were middlemen appeared and they gave low rates to the farmers and cattle owners. The prices were very unfair.
- They went on strike and stopped selling milk and met Shree Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in 1946.
- Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel suggested approaching without a middleman and taking full control given to the Farmer and Cattle owner
- New Union gathered just 247 litres from the two villages near Anand (Kheda) and started organization
- Then Dr. Verghese Kurien taken leadership and Amul grown before looking back.

Step 2 – Select Amul Dairy Anand
Step 3 – Select Date and check slot
Step 4 – Press book now button and enter mobile number.
Step 5 – Add OTP, select number of adults and kids.
Step 6 – Add name of visitors, email, id proof, photo and location
Step 7 – Press next and Take printout or download pdf in mobile

Visitors Instructions for Amul Dairy Visit
- Please carry your ID- Proof or ID- Proof of any one person if you are visiting in a group during your visit.
- The Visit approval given on the basis that Teachers / Professors must take care of their Children/Students
- We don’t have any locker facility for storing luggage and valuables.
- Please wear mask in the plant premises.
- Visitors will be taken for plant visit in groups.
- Visitors will be able to see processing and production through transparent glass windows.
- There could be any emergency shutdown or breakdown of production line.
- Picture / video / reels not allowed
- Pets like Dogs, Cats etc are NOT allowed in the plant as it is a manufacturing organization.
